Good to know!
There are two ways to get to your Settings page, depending on where you are in the service.
- From Bidx Classic view, click the Settings icon in the top right of the page.
- From New Roads pages, click on your User Account icon (it will show your initials) in the top right of the page and then click Settings.
To change your personal or business information:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Click the Account tab of the Settings page to change your personal or company information.
- For contractors: Click Billing to update your Bid Express subscription or payment information, and to see your billing history.
Change personal info
Your personal info includes basic information about you, like your name and email. You can also change your password from the Account tab of the Settings page.
- If you're changing your email address, you'll get an email with a six-digit verification code sent to the new email address. You'll need this code to verify the new address.
- Click the pencil Edit icon for the information you want to change.
- Change the information in the update window.
- Click Save.
The Bid Express service updates the information and returns you to the My Bidx page.
Change company info
Your company info includes basic information about your business, like its name and address. You can also change your phone and fax number from the Account tab of the Settings page.
- Click the pencil Edit icon for the information you want to change.
- Change the information in the update window.
- Click Save.
The Bid Express service updates the information and returns you to the Settings page.
Communication preferences
You selected your communication preferences when you signed up for your account. You can change them by clicking on the Manage Preferences link found in the footer of every marketing communication.
You'll get an email confirming your communication preferences.
Billing
For contractors
The Billing tab shows your subscription, its total cost, and your next invoice date. You can also see your invoice history and change your payment method.
Payment Information
See your payment method and billing address in the Payment Information box. Change your payment method or billing address by clicking the pencil Edit icon for the section and filling out the necessary fields or by clicking Change payment method from the quick-view payment method box at the top.
If you're updating your credit card, the new card will be used to pay your next bill.
Click Save when you're done.
Invoices
The Invoices box displays a list of your billing invoices with their type, order number, billed amount, and invoice status. It may take up to 24 hours to see newly posted invoices.
Click View invoice to see the details.
Cancel my Bid Express account
If you cancel your Bid Express account, you immediately lose access to the account, your Infotech Digital IDs, your messages, and any additional features associated with the account. A disabled Digital ID can't be used for bidding, even if your account is reactivated.
You can cancel your account from the Account tab of the Settings page.
- Click Cancel account.
- Review information on what happens when you cancel an account.
- Type cancel account into the text field and click I understand.
