Add or edit drawers
You can change fields within a template drawer, drawers that you created, and drawers currently in use in a contract at any time. This includes adding folder types and workflow steps. You can also set the types of signatures needed for each drawer.
- Changes made to a drawer from the Manage Drawers page do not affect drawers already in a contract.
- Changes made to a drawer in a contract do not affect other drawers in the Doc Express service. However, you can add a type to a drawer on the Manage Drawers page and have it added to all contracts.
- The Working drawer is a place to work on a document before publishing it to another drawer. Not all of the drawer options are available for the Working drawer.
To update a drawer for all new contracts, select Template Drawers from the Sidebar menu and select the name of the drawer you want to update.
To edit a drawer for a contract, select the contract, then the drawer, and click Edit from the Actions menu.
Make the changes. For step-by-step instructions, see Document workflow order and transitions.

You can add a blank drawer or a drawer from a template to an existing contract through the Actions button.

and users who have access to the drawers.
Click Actions from the contract details section and select either New Blank Drawer,
New Drawer From Template, or New Blank Staging Drawer.
If you are adding the drawer from a template, select the drawer from the Add Drawer
window and click Save. Drawers that have already been added to the contract will
not be displayed. The Doc Express service adds the drawer to the contract.
If you are adding a new blank drawer, enter the necessary information for the drawer
