The Bid Express® Bid Tab Analysis feature allows you to view past bid prices and use this information as a guide to help you in pricing. With this service, you can perform many different analyses quickly and access bid tab data from most Bid Express® Agencies.
If an agency posts bid tabulations to the Bid Express® service, the BTA feature provides a statistical analysis based on past bid prices and low, average, and high prices for items in a variety of formats, including proposal, items, and bidder.
The following parameters can help you fine-tune your search journey.

| Smart Item Search | Used with the Item Number field. Returns items where either part of the item number begins with the entered criteria. For example, if you enter 150, the Smart Item Search will return 150-2000 and 200-1500, but not 200-0150. |

| Proposal Items | List multiple proposals separated by commas (ex. proposal1, proposal2, proposal3) |
| County | List county names separated by commas (ex. county1, county2) |

The search returns the following columns in a table (see below).

Select Export (csv) or Export (tab) to export the search results.
Each line in the table can be expanded to see more information about the item and the item bid information. To see the additional information, click the plus sign (+) for the item number in the Item column.
The additional item information is presented in a table and includes the following columns;

| Letting Date | The letting date for which the item appears |
| Proposal | The proposal for which the item appears |
| County | The county associated with the proposal for which the item appears |
| Proposal Average | The average proposal item price is based on the total number of bids submitted to the proposal |
| Proposal High | The highest proposal item price is based on the total number of bids submitted to the proposal |
| Proposal Low | The lowest proposal item price is based on the total number of bids submitted to the proposal |
| Quantity |
The quantity associated with the item that’s specific to the proposal |
| Proposal Bid Count |
The number of bids per proposal for which the items appears |
Additional details in the results by selecting the proposal bid count. Once selected, the item bid history for the selected item will be presented.
The Item Bid History for AAA-BBBB will include, the initial search parameters used, the bidders who submitted a bid to the proposal for which the item appears, and the unit of measure, item quantity, bidder's unit price, and the extended amount (total).
The Item Bid History can also selectively display a selected number of bidders by activating/deactivating the checkbox next to the bidder’s company name.
