Benefits of the Vendor Directory

Here are some of the benefits of maintaining a monthly subscription, including the vendor directory:

Search the Vendor Directory

While signed into Bid Express, find and click the Vendor Directory tab. You'll see a searchable list of vendors.

• Use the Search field to find vendors by state, zip code, or business name.
• Narrow your search results using the Business Type filter: sort vendors by Prime, Subcontractor, Supplier, or AEC designation.
• Use the State filter to see all vendors working within your chosen state.

Find Plan Holders

Plan holder lists provide a catalog of vendors who are already interested in a certain solicitation. For businesses looking to collaborate, plan holder lists can be a valuable resource for finding like-minded companies to work with.

Using the Vendor Directory's Find Plan Holders function, collaborators can search for solicitations and then view all of the published plan holders for those solicitations in one easy-to-access resource. This eliminates the time-consuming work of clicking into each solicitation to download its plan holder list.

To use the Find Plan Holders function:

1. Navigate to the Solicitations or Public Solicitations tab (depending on your account type).
2. Use the search bar to enter keywords, such as work type or location, that match your desired solicitations.
3. From the search results page, click Find Plan Holders.
4. A pop-up modal will direct you to click View in Vendor Directory. There, you can see a comprehensive list containing all of the published plan holders for all of your solicitation search results.
   • Note: in the pop-up modal, click Don't show again to dismiss this message and be taken directly to the Vendor Directory on all future searches.

Once in the Vendor Directory, you can browse the list of plan holders along with their contact information and business type. A numerical count displays the total number of solicitations for which the vendor is a plan holder. Click on that number to see links to those solicitations, and click a solicitation title to view its details.
