Learn your way around the Bidx.com Workspace, your main avenue for finding and keeping track of proposals.
Navigating the Workspace
The Workspace is where you'll spend a lot of your time in the service; finding, following, and keeping track of proposals.
When you first log into the Bid Express: New Roads service at bidx.com, you'll be taken to the Workspace's Dashboard tab. Here's what you'll see and do on the Dashboard tab.
Recommended proposals
If you have selected favorite counties and items, you'll see a box at the top of your Dashboard that displays your personalized proposal recommendations. These are proposals match your preferences for areas to work and items to work with.
Learn more about recommended proposals.
Followed proposals
Underneath the recommended proposals, you'll find all of your followed proposals in one spot.
Click anywhere on the followed proposal's tile and a panel will slide out on the right side of your screen. From there you can click a link at the top to see the full proposal.
Calendar
You'll also find a calendar here on the Dashboard, automatically populated with the letting dates of your favorite agencies. There's a dot under dates that have a proposal deadline.
Click on a dotted date to see the cut-off time, agency name, and the number of proposals in the letting. Click on the cut-off time to view the full letting for that date.
This is where you can view and edit your favorite items and counties.
Click on the Edit button in the top right of either Favorites box to search, add, or remove a favorite item or county.
Notes feature
Keep track of stray information, comments, reminders, and thoughts about a specific proposal by using the Notes tab.
From a proposal's page, click on the Notes tab to begin.
From the Notes tab, click on the New note button.
A text box will pop up where you can freely enter your comments. Click Add note to save.
The service will automatically include your name and the date you added the note to the card.
To edit a note, find its card and click on the three dots in the upper right side.
You'll see the option to edit or delete the note. When you're done editing, click Save note.
If you click Delete note, you'll be prompted to confirm deletion. Click Yes to delete.
