For Bid Express vendors
In this article:
The owner-agency has the option of allowing vendors to ask questions about the solicitation. If this feature is enabled, you will see a Q & A section in the solicitation. You do not have to select the solicitation for bidding in order to ask a question.
The Q & A section displays the deadline for asking questions and any remarks, such as an estimate of how long it will take to answer a question.
Ask questions

Open a proposal on the Solicitations tab and click Ask a Question, or open the proposal on the Bids tab and click View Q & A and then Ask a Question.

Enter your question and click Submit.
The Bid Express service will send an email to all Bid Express users of your business verifying the question was submitted. In addition, the owner-agency will see notification of an unanswered question.
Click Print to create a PDF of all the questions.
Question response status
The owner-agency can publish any question so it is available to all Bid Express users. The question does not need to be answered in order to be published. Published questions are listed first. The authors of the question and answer are not published.
In progress: Your question has been asked.
Published: When the owner-agency publishes the answer. You and the Bid Express users of your business will receive an email notification that the answer was posted. The answer will be posted directly under the question.
